FROM TEXAS
TO THE OPRY
Based in Nashville, TN, Rhett Gordon is a professional touring guitarist known for his musical instincts, tight pocket, and ability to seamlessly adapt across genres. Whether locking into a high-energy pop show, supporting a singer-songwriter, or delivering polished country and rock tones. Rhett shows up prepared, flexible, and fully invested in the artist’s vision.
Growing up in southeast Texas, Rhett was raised on the blues, classic rock and Motown. He would later become influenced by country music as a result of an older cousin, Glenn Gordon, who was the guitar player and band leader for Mark Chesnutt during the prime of his career. This culmination of style and experience has taken him from his roots in Texas to the Grand Ole Opry stage.
Rhett combines modern tones with classic sensibility—prioritizing feel, dynamics, and consistency night after night. Artists and musical directors trust Rhett for his professionalism, leadership, and ability to deliver.
